For having such a big school coaches are very necessary to make their players the best they could possibly be and get them ready and the possibility to go into the NFL after college football. The head coach is Jim Harbaugh who has coached for seven seasons so far and in 3 of his seasons he led Michigan to a 10 + win season includin last year placing top 3 in the big ten. Michigan has 20 coaches for all different reasons like Ron Bellamy as the wide receiver coach, George Helow as the linebacker coach, Mike elston as the recruiting coordinator, and Grant Newsome as the tight end coach. Finally coaches are the most important thing to do in college football because if the players dont know how to unleash all they have to offer then they will never get better and coaches are the people that teach them how to find their full potential that they could never find by themselves.

• Ron joined the staff after 11 years as a very sucessful Michigan coach
• Overseed a secondary that ranked top 30 in pass defence
• Ron has helped 165 players get scolarships and 50 on the FBS level
• Born December 28, 1981

This is Michigans Linebacker Coach George Helow

• In his first year of employment he led Michigan to a top 20 ranking defence
• George has coached a handful of the nations top programs befor Michigan
• Hellow broke into the college coaching ranks at Alabama under Nick Saban
• Born January 6, 1987
